The company’s work spans applications across oil and gas, mining, EV charging, remote communities, and other critical infrastructure sectors.
The role reports to the CFO and would have exposure to the CEO and board.

Job Description / What you will be doing
1. Strategic Finance & Planning
- Build and maintain multi-scenario models across core and emerging product lines
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and internal planning processes
- Evaluate new business verticals, product initiatives, and growth opportunities
- Define and track KPIs and performance dashboards
2. Corporate Development & Strategy
- Evaluate partnership and M&A opportunities
- Financial modelling, valuation, and diligence for potential transactions
- Support deal structuring, negotiations, and contract review
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and risks
3. Capital Raising & Investor Relations
- Support end-to-end fundraising processes
- Develop and maintain investor materials including pitch decks, financial models, and data rooms
4. Commercial & Customer Strategy
- Support development and implementation of strategic plans to drive growth, market expansion, and competitive positioning
- Evaluation of new customer opportunities and deployment strategies
- Develop marketing and positioning materials aligned with customers and partner needs
- Partner with operations teams to assess pricing, unit economics, and customer relations
5. Cross-Functional Strategic Support
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to identify and execute growth initiatives
- Translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights
- Support executive decision-making through structured analysis and recommendations
- Lead ad-hoc strategic projects under tight timelines and ambiguity
- Prepare executive-ready materials for leadership and board presentations
Requirements:
- 5+ years of working experience as a Financial Analyst
- CPA or equivalent designation
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Data Management
- Self-driven, adaptable to change and able to manage multiple tasks/projects/assignments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Proven ability to work with Power BI or AI tools for data management
- NetSuite experience would be an asset
